Next fall I will leave home, and attend college. For the first time, I will be without my brother. I am 13 months older, and we do nearly everything together. We bring out many qualities in each other that wouldn't otherwise be portrayed. While a portrait of a single person might be interesting, and you can find many unique qualities of the individual, siblings bring out a whole different set of qualities. This inspired my photo essay. I believe that I am capturing important aspects of each person, by including their sibling. I was able to capture much more of their personality. I was able to include a different side their life: family life through my lens. I wanted to show the audience part of the personality that they wouldn't have otherwise caught. I hoped to capture some of the unique qualities that each sibling brought out of each other, and capture a unique attitude towards the siblings. The results of several siblings at Lab are below.
